A straw-yellow wine with a fresh and soft taste

In the Valley of Tramontina, we cultivate two secular vines: Falanghina (Bianca Zita) and Biancolella, whose grapes are skilfully mixed.  A straw-yellow, fruity, floral wine with a fresh and soft taste, soft and tapered, gentle and enjoyable, savory and persuasive. Perfect with seafood.

The exposure is mainly southwards, and the pergola cultivation stands between 300 and 500 metres above the sea level.

Density of the vineyard

In the new vineyards there can be between 4000 and 5000 plants per hectare. In the traditional vineyards the density is of about 2500 plants per hectare

Vintage season

Wine-making

The grapes are rigorously picked by hand, then taken to the cellar after being accurately selected in the vineyard and the stalks being removed from the grapes. The grapes macerate together with the skins, then they are pressed. The must is left to decant with a static cold system, and selected yeasts are injected in the must produced. It ferments at a low temperature to keep its flavours intact. The fermentation lasts for about 20 - 30 days

Refining process

Elevagès sur lies for 4 - 5 months.

Organoleptic features

Its colour is light yellow (straw),it has an intense scent of tropical fruits, flowers and honey. Its taste is typically fresh, warm and with a noble degree of acidity, slightly bitter. The aftertaste is long and intense.
