Cellar Giuseppe Apicella - Who We Are

The Apicella family for generations cultivated the land and until the early '70s produced the excellent table wine. So Joseph decides to create his label and bottle the wine than it produces. The first yield to be sold is that of 1977, about 3000 bottles of red wine, which give way to the winery Giuseppe Apicella and thirty years of success.

The wine of Giuseppe Apicella is produced in 7 hectares of vineyards, the oldest of which were planted in the early twentieth century with autochthonous ungrafted, raised with the typical pergola system. Piedirosso, Bianca Tenera e Bianca Zita, Ginestra, Pepella and Tintore (typical grapes)... These are the jewels of the winery Apicella, that Giuseppe and his wife bred with love and passion. Feelings that are perceived in their wine, which has its own personality and embodies the values of the territory.

Giuseppe and his wife, the founders of the winery Apicella, dealing with the management of vineyards. Theyr son, Prisco, a graduate in Viticulture and Enology at the University of Torino, is engaged in production and processing, giving body and substance to his father's passion. The daughter Fiorina, sommeliers, and careful administrator, is responsable for marketing and for the managing of the winery.
